Plane not found: MH-370 was the '404th' Boeing 777 produced! 10 amazing coincidences in the world that are really creepy

Can you imagine a person with the same name as you, owning the same number of pets as you own in similar colours? It's too good to be true, and it would be really strange if something like that happened in real life. But guess what, there have been uncanny co-incidences like these that will make you believe nature is throwing cryptic clues at you.

For example, the Malaysian Airlines plane that went missing was the 404th Boeing 777 produced. Could it have anything to do with 'error 404: page not found' or are we relating two completely unrelated incidents?

That's not all, here are ten other weird coincidences you wouldn't believe have happened in real life! Find more such coincidences here.

The curious case of Richard Parker: In the year 1833, the great poet and author Edgar Allan Poe wrote a novel which described three starving shipwrecked sailors who only survive by eating the cabin boy, named ‘Richard Parker’. 51 years later i.e. 1884, Three shipwrecked sailors were actually rescued. They had only survived by eating the cabin boy. The name of the unfortunate cabin boy was Richard Parker.

A tale of two women

Whoa! In Monza, Italy, King Umberto I, went to a small restaurant for dinner, accompanied by his aide-de-camp, General Emilio Ponzia- Vaglia. When the owner took King Umberto's order, the King noticed that he and the restaurant owner were virtual doubles, in face and in build. Both men began discussing the striking resemblances between each other and found many more similarities.
a) Both men were born on the same day, of the same year, (March 14th, 1844).
b) Both men had been born in the same town.
c) Both men married a woman with same name, Margherita.
d) The restauranteur opened his restaurant on the same day that King Umberto was crowned King of Italy.
e) On the 29th July 1900, King Umberto was informed that the restaurateur had died that day in a mysterious shooting accident, and as he expressed his regret, he was then assassinated by an anarchist in the crowd.

9/11 theory? During production of the video game Deus Ex the skybox artist forgot to add the Twin Towers to the New York skyline. The discrepancy was explained in-game as being the result of a terrorist attack. The year was 2000.

A genius day! Stephen hawking was born on 8th January 1942, exactly 300 years after the death of Galileo Galilei on 8th January 1642.

Weirdest. Coincidence. Ever. In June 2001, Laura Buxton, a 10 year old from Staffordshire, England released a helium filled balloon on her grandparent's 50th anniversary with her name and address on it tagging "Please write to Laura Buxton."
The balloon floated 140 miles away and landed in the back yard of a house, in the same geographic region Milton Lilbourne, Marlborough, where also lived a 10 year old girl named Laura Buxton.
The Lauras were the same height (tall for their age), had the same build and eye color, both were fair-haired.
They both had brown hair and same hairstyle.
Both wore blue jeans with pink jumpers to their first meeting.
Both had grey rabbits, guinea pigs, and three-year-old black Labradors as pet animals.
Both had bought their guinea pigs to their first meeting which surprisingly had same colour with similar orange markings on their hindquarters.

Missing Plane Found? Malaysia Airlines MH370 Captain Home Simulator Data May Offer New Leads?

New information on the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 may have emerged, linking one of the pilots as a potential suspect in the demise of the plane's 238 people on-board.

Current investigations led authorities to the house of Zaharie Shah, the captain of MH370, where they discovered a home-made simulator used before the plane's disappearance.

Details from Shah's simulator revealed that the plane was directly rerouted to a small remote island in southern Indian Ocean

"The discovery leaves Capt Zaharie as the prime suspect in a crime which cannot yet be proven to have been committed - and Malaysian police have been careful in their public comments to stress that all leads are still being investigated and no conclusions have been reached," according to The Telegraph.
Results from Australian air crash investigations also presumed that there could deliberate sabotage involved with he Malaysian aircraft, said Peter Marosszeky, an aviation expert from University of New South Wales.
Further details revealed that there seems to be a significant power interruption at the time MH370 disappeared on radar and tried to communicate with satellite, "These include a power interruption to the aircraft satellite data unit (SDU), a software failure, loss of critical systems providing input to the SDU or a loss of the link due to aircraft attitude," according to The Daily Mirror UK.
For the meantime, search and investigation teams comprised from Malaysia, Australia, and United States have halted the operations until August. An official media spokesperson said that the organizations concerned will take this time to refocus their search and narrow down their leads on the case.

Malaysia to send more equipment for flight MH370 search in Indian Ocean

Malaysia will send more equipment to the southern Indian Ocean to join the search for flight MH370 which went missing four months ago.
Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said yesterday that a Malaysian navy ship equipped with a multi-beam echo sounder - a device to map the ocean floor - would set sail on August 4 for the deep-sea search zone far off western Australia.
State energy firm Petronas, together with Deftech and Phoenix International, would deploy a towed device called a synthetic aperture sonar to scan the ocean floor, he said.
Shipbuilder Boustead Heavy Industries, together with iXBlue Australia, would send a deep towed side scan sonar with a remotely operated vehicle.

"Instructions for immediate mobilisation have been given and the assets are expected to reach the search area in mid- August," Hishammuddin said.
Another Malaysian vessel which was deployed in April would stay in the search area,.
The Malaysia Airlines flight lost contact on March 8 en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard. It is believed to have veered off course and - based on satellite data analysis - crashed in the southern Indian Ocean, but an extensive Australian-led search has so far found no sign of wreckage.
Australian officials announced last month that the search would shift further south based on a review of the satellite data. They also said the Boeing 777 was almost certainly on autopilot when it ran out of fuel and crashed.
The most likely scenario, the officials said, was that the pilots and crew suffered from hypoxia, or lack of oxygen, and became "unresponsive", which can occur when a plane loses air pressure at high altitude.
The underwater search will start in the new area, covering up to 60,000 square kilometres in the southern Indian Ocean, next month and take up to a year.

Malaysia Flight MH370 update: Malaysia to deploy more search equipment for missing aircraft

Four months after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 went missing, Malaysia is still not done with its search efforts. The country is reportedly sending more equipment to help with the search in the Indian Ocean. According to the South China Morning Post, Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that a "Malaysian navy ship equipped with a multi-beam echo sounder" will join the search on August 4. It will do a deep-sea search, as the multi-beam echo sounder is used as a device tto map the ocean floor. Hussein also shared that Deftech and Phoenix International will deploy a synthetic aperture sonar that will be used to scan the ocean floor. Boustead Heavy Industries and iXBlue Australia will send a deep-towed side scan sonar to aid in the search. The equipment is expected to be mobilized immediately and the equipment is set to reach the search zones in mid-August. The disappearance of Flight MH370 is still a big mystery. There were news that debris was found in the Indian Ocean and it was assumed that it was the remains of the Boeing 777. Further, the Malaysian Prime Minister also released a statement that there are no living survivors from the flight. Of course, there's still no confirmation of any of these news until they are able to find concrete evidence. The Malaysia Airline Flight 370 lost contact back in March 8 when it left Kuala Lumpur and headed to Beijing. There were 239 passengers, most of which were Chinese citizens. Satellite data analyzed that the plane crashed into the Indian Ocean, but so far, the Australian-led search team still hasn't found any evidence. Hopefully, the new equipment aimed to help in doing underwater search can be a big addition to the search. The search will cover up to 60,000 square kilometers and can take up to a year.
